As a pharma engineering company, we contribute substantially to our customer’s environmental ambitions in the project execution. Our materiality assessment found that climate, water and biodiversity are the primary environmental impacts we can influence.
This includes addressing value chain impacts when sourcing construction materials and applying circular economy thinking in process designs.
In the early design stages, we conduct workshops to capture our customers’ needs, set baselines for the environmental impacts and define project-specific targets. As we evolve basic and detailed designs, we quantify and document the impact of the proposed solutions for our customers.
We mitigate operational environmental impacts with an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System. The primary impacts are CO2 emissions from use of energy at our offices and people transport. We committed to the UN Global Compact in 2008 and report our progress within in our Annual Report that you can find on our corporate website.
